Just back from a wonderful trip to Los Angeles and a visit to the much-anticipated, Long Beach Antique Market. The market was better than I'd dreamed. And, during a catch up with old friends at the vintage-style eatery, the Ivy, I had a celebrity moment and rubbed elbows with Simon Cowell (seated next to us). What fun. With all the laughing, exploring and vintage shopping - it couldn't have been a better weekend. This first picture is of the cutest little trunk of vintage dolls I stumbled upon at the market. I love the trunk and even better the dolls in the trunk. I couldn’t resist a little bisque doll I took home from this same vendor. And two of the prettiest vintage suitcases found their way into my trunk for the trip back home.

The vintage furniture at the market was breath taking. I loved this pair of night stands.
Imagine peddling down a country road in this blue gem to pick wild flowers for the basket.
And, the jewelry! Boxes and boxes, one right after the next, overflowing with vintage jewelry, rhinestone brooches, enamel flowers, rings with over-sized stones and more.

I discovered the sweetest color palettes and displays. Candy for the soul.
I have a soft spot for vintage ribbons and trims. I must have spent thirty minutes rummaging through the beauties at this table.
And, who could deny the shiny, pretty buttons. Tables overflowing with the most beautiful vintage buttons.
... this quaint little bed frame called out to me. What a bargain price. Note to self: travel in big o' truck next time.
